Flat out Lies, Dodging Debates, Restricting TV Interviews

Valatie, NY — This week has been a telling one for Antonio Delgado. His staff openly admitted that their ‘age tax’ attack was a lie, he refused to debate his opponents in Delaware County, and it was revealed he is not accepting TV interviews.

All of these examples beg the question: what kind of representation (or lack thereof) would Antonio Delgado provide to New York 19 if elected?

“Antonio Delgado’s campaign openly admitted that they have been lying about John Faso’s record on health care. In fact, their false attack had already been debunked prior to the ad being run,” said Joe Gierut communications director for the Faso campaign.“And how does Delgado choose to react to his staff’s revelation? He chooses to hide and avoid the risk of being held accountable. FiOS1 News has confirmed that Delgado is refusing to do TV interviews, and he’s also refusing to show up and debate with his fellow candidates where he could be forced to answer for his repeated lies. Upstate New York needs a candidate who delivers results, not one who will say anything and move anywhere to become a member of Congress.”

John Faso’s record on health care includes voting to protect pre-existing conditions and seniors on Medicare.
