Two New York Dems on Judiciary Committee Said They’d Investigate Kavanaugh if Democrats Take the House

Valatie, NY — Surrendering to demands from left-wing activists in Washington D.C. such as Michael Avenatti, the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee Jerrold Nadler has indicated that he intends to open an investigation into newly sworn-in Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh if the Democrats take the House. Justice Kavanaugh’s seven different FBI investigations and a Senate Judiciary Committee investigation found no evidence to corroborate allegations against Mr. Kavanaugh.

“Antonio Delgado cannot continue to remain silent and must address if he supports Jerry Nadler and the Democrats’ promise to continue their shameful efforts to destroy Justice Kavanaugh at any cost regardless of the facts,” said Joe Gierut, communications director for the Faso campaign. “Their actions have clearly demonstrated they have no regard for the truth and will resort to any means they feel is necessary to assassinate Justice Kavanaugh’s character. House Democrats in partnership with slimeball lawyer Michael Avenatti have made it crystal clear that they are not done trying to destroy Justice Kavanaugh, and Mr. Delgado must let the voters know what he intends to do.”

Over the course of two weeks, Senate Democrats and their activist partners engaged in a sustained campaign of character assassination without providing corroborating evidence. The process was a new low in Democratic Party Leadership allowing mob rule of the most extreme elements of their party to guide their actions.

BACKGROUND
Last Sunday, in response to a question from ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on ‘This Week” Nadler stated:

  • “If he is on the Supreme Court, and the Senate hasn’t investigated, then the House will have to.” (ABC News, This Week, Sept. 30, 2018)

Nadler doubled down on Friday, the eve of the Senate’s confirmation vote in an interview with the New York Times.

  • “we are going to have to do something to provide a check and balance.” (New York Times, October 5, 2018)

Fellow New Yorker and Judiciary Committee member Hakeem Jeffries has also indicated Democrats plan to launch an impeachment investigation.

  • “This is a disgrace what’s happened in United States Senate. And obviously we have to find ways to make sure the truth is eventually brought to light,” (Washington Examiner, 10/01/18)
