STUNG BY RADICAL CARPETBAGGER LABEL, PROFESSOR TEACHOUT, DCCC GO ON ATTACK IN NY-19

NY-19, Sept. 21...Radical college professor and brand new NY-19 transplant from New York City Professor Zephyr Rain Teachout, who has more donors from California than New York, has launched a full-out, scurrilous, and inaccurate scorched-earth campaign on longtime New York advocate and resident John Faso, the Faso for Congress campaign today reported.

On Tuesday, Professor Teachout and the Nancy Pelosi-led Democrats in Washington released a desperate attack ad on Mr. Faso falsely stating that he was a lobbyist for Wall Street — a total fabrication — while concurrently releasing a dummied up “poll” out of Washington claiming that Professor Teachout is now leading Mr. Faso in the NY-19 race.

“Prof. Teachout and the Nancy Pelosi-Bill de Blasio Left trying to engineer her carpetbagging candidacy are showing obvious signs of desperation in this race,” said Faso campaign manager Dain Pascocello. “But what did they expect running a candidate from Brooklyn whose views on everything from raising taxes, to forcing hardworking families to pay for campaign ads, to giving billions of dollars to Iran to build nuclear weapons with which to threaten Israel are miles outside the political mainstream? It’s no wonder Prof. Teachout is raising money from more Californians and New Englanders than New Yorkers — she’s simply not from here and she doesn’t reflect the values of the district.”

The Faso campaign said it expects Professor Teachout’s scorched-earth campaign to get worse.

“The radical left convinced Professor Teachout that she could move to the 19th District in January, snow the voters with charm and establish a national platform for her hard-left political views,” Mr. Pascocello continued. “But reality is setting in. Upstate New York voters will not be fooled.”
